The Microsoft Edge browser has a known bug: it does not display upload progress correctly when uploading files from a local device. This means that even when the upload is progressing, the status may appear stuck at "0%".
This bug has been acknowledged by Microsoft over a year ago, but has not yet been resolved:

What does this mean for you?
If you're uploading a large file using Microsoft Edge, you might see the progress stuck at 0%, even though the upload is happening in the background. Unfortunately, this can make it difficult to estimate how long the upload will take, especially if your internet upload speed is low.
If, after waiting for some time, the upload still doesn’t complete, we recommend the following:
